Personalized Nutrition Therapy

There is no one-size fits all nutrition.  What's healthy and beneficial for one person may not be healthy or appropriate for another.  Our individual nutrient requirements are as unique as our fingerprints.  My goal is to identify each client's specific needs and develop an appropriate plan with step-by-step guidance.

Identifying the Root Cause of Diet & Lifestyle-Induced Illness

When simply masking or managing symptoms isn't enough, identifying the root cause of illness is necessary for regaining health.  Through various assessments, including obtaining a thorough history, food sensitivity testing, GI profile, and micronutrient analysis when indicated, I investigate to determine the underlying cause of diet & lifestyle-induced illness.  As a result, an individualized care plan is then implemented, and appropriate medical referrals are made as necessary.

Healthy Meal Planning & Prep Guidance

It's one thing to know what to eat, but knowing how to prepare healthy foods, and actually fitting the process into our daily lives, can be a completely different challenge.  I enjoy helping clients come up with delicious menu options to easily implement into the weekly hustle & bustle of work, school, sports and family.  I approach meal planning as a cooperative effort between each client and myself, to ensure the plan includes foods that the client is willing to eat, and has the skills or ambition to prepare.  This non-"diet"personalized nutrition approach emphasizes healthy lifestyle habits, helps to ensure compliance, and avoids adding unnecessary stress to busy lives.
